Sara Ameigh, Owner
Sara has been working exclusively with small businesses for over 30 years. She started freelancing in 2008 and has built deep expertise working with businesses across the service, construction, and restaurant industries. Sara has chosen to work specifically with small business owners because she finds the personal reward to be greater, and because after three decades in the field, she knows exactly where small businesses tend to get stuck.
Efficiency is her priority. Sara is quick and thorough at getting data processed and is particularly skilled at setting up and streamlining processes, so business owners spend less time wrestling with their books and more time running their business.
Sara is also the firm’s analytics resource. From simple line charts tracking historical profit trends to industry-specific metrics such as food and labor cost ratios for restaurant clients, or job costing for construction, she provides the relevant financial information business owners need to make confident decisions.
Sara started her QuickBooks career by reading the manual cover to cover and transferring clients from pen-and-ledger systems to computerized QuickBooks. Working her way through school, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maine College of Art.
Earlier in her career, Sara was active in nonprofit board work, including with Architalx, Portland Buy Local, and Portland Players, and is no stranger to presenting in front of a board committee.
